Who we are
Family, friends & bikes
SCT Racing — Smith, Campbell & Team — is a family-and-friends endurance team brought together by one thing: a lifelong love of motorbikes.
It started in Pete Smith Senior's workshop. Pete's passion for bikes has been passed down to his sons and stepson and shared with friends of more than twenty years, and today three generations of bike-mad Smiths and Campbells spend their spare time there, building, fixing and talking bikes.
In 2027 the team has one big goal: to get 13-year-old Ted Campbell racing in the open endurance championships, lining up against adult riders. Endurance racing needs a proper team — riders to share the bike, a pit crew, spanners, a van and a lot of tea — so everyone has put in their time, their bikes and their weekends to make it happen.

Endurance & straight lines
Endurance · British Championship
Freetech Endurance
Part of an official British Championship for 125cc four-stroke bikes. Riders share one bike over long races, swapping at pit stops — it's all about teamwork and consistency.
Endurance · 4 to 24 hours · open age
NBS Endurance Championship
Long-distance races of up to 24 hours, including the 24 Hour at Teesside Autodrome. Open to adult riders — the races where Ted takes on the men.
Drag & straight-line racing · Melbourne Raceway, York
Straightliners
Where Pete Senior races the drag bikes he builds. At 72, he's still lining up at Straightliners events at Melbourne Raceway — proof that age is just a number.
